The short version: CalcWise does not collect, store, or sell your personal data. All calculations happen directly in your browser. We never see your numbers, inputs, or results.

This Privacy Policy describes how CalcWise ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you visit calcwises.com (the "Site"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being fully transparent about our data practices.

By using CalcWise, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.

CalcWise is a client-side web application. This means all calculations are processed locally in your browser โ€” your inputs are never transmitted to our servers.

Children's Privacy

CalcWise is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Union).

Since we do not collect personal information from any users, we do not knowingly collect it from children either. Our calculators are educational tools suitable for all ages.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to remove that information.

Because CalcWise does not collect personal data beyond standard server logs, there is typically no personal data to access, delete, or correct. To exercise any of these rights or for questions, contact us using the information in Section 11.

California Residents (CCPA): We do not sell personal information. You have the right to know what data is collected and to opt out of its sale. Since we do not sell data, no opt-out is necessary.

European Residents (GDPR): Our legal basis for processing technical data is our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Site. You may contact us to exercise your GDPR rights at any time.

We take reasonable measures to protect any information associated with your use of CalcWise:

  • All traffic is encrypted via HTTPS / SSL (the padlock in your browser)
  • Calculator inputs are processed entirely in your browser and never transmitted
  • We do not store financial, health, or personal calculation data on any server
  • Our hosting provider (Vercel) maintains industry-standard security practices

While we implement these safeguards, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to or from our Site.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors.
